The Client

A leading generic pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and distributes injectable and ophthalmic pharmaceutical products for both hospitals and retail markets. With a large product base of over 85 molecules and 350 SKUs produced, our client came to SPORTALITY looking for a higher platform from which to communicate.

Situation

A need to establish an open and direct two-way dialogue between senior executives and primary health care decision makers. The dialogue was desired to transfer product knowledge and relay key company messages of a strong coming fiscal year.

Solution

In an effort to encourage a strong working relationship between company and decision maker, as well as ensuring a strong turn out of invitees - our client, in conjunction with SPORTALITY, developed and organized a program with the fundamental idea of engaging all on a personal level. As a result, a spousal, two-day weekend get-away was born -- The Presidential Forum at the Presidents Cup.
The full weekend program incorporated The Presidents Cup Four Ball Matches, and for those less inclined to trek the course - spa treatments of choice. A specialist in the field hosted a private reserved off-site breakfast, while dinner incorporated a message from the President.

The Elm Ridge, a privately renowned golf course, acted as the VIP hospitality hub and meeting place for the weekend.

Private shuttles to and from the tournament were organized throughout the day - giving guests the opportunity to use their time as they pleased, an important element of the program.

Result

Feedback indicated the event a success - with increased communication and understanding between our client and their key target audience.
