SPORTALITY is pleased to announce today that it has formed a three-year presenting-sponsor partnership with the Toronto Racing Association of Karters. The new relationship designates the upcoming club schedule at Goodwood Kartways as the 'SPORTALITY TRAK Championship,' and forms a union that has both sides tremendously excited about the opportunities that lay ahead.
"We are extremely pleased to announce our partnership with the Toronto Racing Association of Karters," said Robert Ewaniuk, President of SPORTALITY. “As the only organization that provides its members with the authentic training and genuine feel of a real-size car, TRAK truly represents the rich tradition of racing. We look forward to working with TRAK to further develop this innovative platform for youth drivers."
With a strong devotion to the sport of racing and existing ties to the likes of Formula One, NASCAR and IndyCar, SPORTALITY is thrilled to add its support to racing at the grassroots level. Aiding in the promotion of such an emerging sport is a perfect fit for the Toronto-based firm, and Robert's son Jacob, himself a karter, will contest the inaugural SPORTALITY TRAK Championship, set to begin with Spring Training on April 9th and Race #1 of 13 on April 16th.
"It's great to be able to tee up the 2011 TRAK Championship with such an exciting announcement," said club President Daniel Di Leo. "The year launched to a packed house at our Annual General Meeting last week end, and now to be able to announce even more exciting news for the club just one week later speaks to the great season that is taking shape at TRAK. We're proud of what we've been able to accomplish in our early years, and with continued support of the great drivers and families we have at TRAK mixed with new support from SPORTALITY, we couldn't be happier with where we stand."
Established in 2008 at the famed Canadian racing venue Goodwood Kartways, the TRAK group is thrilled to be partnering with corporations like SPORTALITY as the club continues to evolve. Since its inception, TRAK has continued to grow while meeting its mandate of promoting and aiding in the development of amateur racers. As one of the largest and most successful karting clubs in Canada, TRAK is devoted to helping kids develop life-long character traits while involved in the unique and challenging sport of kart racing.
